That's the story of an ordinary American family whose the only kid boy seems to have a strange behavior which their parents are worried about. The family in question has no TV set and the young kid is somewhere a little ashamed about that. So he hesitates to invite his friends to his home because of this. That's the kind of tales which, of course, interest thousand of families. The study of the true American way of life through the portrait of one of those millions of suburban American families. Good story although you have nothing really exceptional here. Maybe a sort of message from the TV industry to urge families to buy TV sets and then imitate their neighbours, people next door...
