- A dirty bomb goes off when an apartment's door is opened. The man that opened the door dies while two people behind him suffer from cuts and burns.
- Two men break into a house. They attempt to kidnap a boy but his mother intervenes. He runs away but his mother is shot and killed. Later, he is cornered by the other assailant when his step-father strikes the latter on the back of his head with a baseball bat. The assailant turns around and shoots the step-father. The two men then plant the boy's fingerprints on the gun and shoe prints on the blood in an attempt to frame him for the murders.
