When by chance Bodie is reunited with old flame Marikka, they risk a loving reunion - despite her now being married, and her husband close by.
But worse is to come, as Bodie finds himself framed for a diplomat's assassination - and is left with nowhere to turn as he finds there's no one he can trust - even CI5.
This is tense and gripping episode that really builds well and turns the screw until we reach an agonisng climax.
Pamela Salem is perfect as the exotic Marikka, and as a viewer, you can really feel for Bodie as he's unwittingly lured into the enemy's cunning trap.
There's still time for some fun moments too, and some good 'car banter' in the opening scenes as Doyle relishes his weekend off - not to mention some playful mentions throughout of his fictional stamp collection!
Many viewers will of course recognize Patrick Malahide of 'Minder' fame - seen here playing a security man even more unscrupulous than Charlie Chisholm.
This is certainly an above-average episode of this excellent series that delivers some good action and keeps you guessing until the end.
