Hey kids, you can try this at home!
planktonrules25 January 2014
Don Riordan meets Nancy Metcalfe at a club and they strike up a relationship. When the evening is done, Don tells Nancy he'll driver her home. However, Don doesn't realize that Nancy and her father are crooks and they are setting him up for a swindle and their mansion isn't theirs at all and George isn't their butler.

So what's the scam? Well, the Metcalfes later claim to have a fool-proof system for picking the winners of horse races. After all, when they repeatedly listen to races during the weekend, they keep picking the winners again and again. How did they really do it? Well, Don was staying with them and they set every clock back in the house (as well as Don's watch)--and so they are picking winners AFTER the races have been completed! Will Captain Braddock magically pop in at the end of the show and capture the crooks?

As I watched this show, I thought that in many ways the episode was like a how-to--teaching the viewer how easy it would be to run this scam themselves!! I am pretty sure that was NOT the purpose of the show! Overall, an interesting episode and one worth seeing.
