After Dan is released from the hospital Roseanne tries to make him live a healthy life style as prescribed by doctors. Exercise and healthy food. But then turns out that Dan is cheating on it. He sits reads paper when he is supposed to walk and eats unhealthy snacks. So they end up having a big fight.
The episode is kind of sad. One feels for Dan because of course when one lives one doesn't want to give up on the things that give one pleasure. But one understands Roseanne as well as one doesn't want to give things to a love one that can make him die. And some really bad things were said during their fight. Dan was pretty unfair when he dismissed all the work Roseanne has done to keep the family up financially and even says their kids are failures and she failed as a mother. Not only aren't they failures but even if they were why would it be her responsibility and not his. A very depressing way to end a season but very well done.
