Nailed it shut!

Alright. Truth be told I only have seen the last half hour of this show recently. I do remember the opening number with the host of the McLaughlin Group showing up to kill Dana Carvey. But the last half hour still demonstrates what a great show this was back then. The biggest of the sketches was 'Young Actors Forum' where 8 members of the cast played 8 different young actors from that era. Actors like Matthew Broderick, Charlie Sheen, and Rob Lowe (played by Victoria Jackson I believe) joined the real Christian Slater to honestly discuss their craft and the business only to reveal how male they are by saying things like 'Did her' after anyone mentions an actresses name. A finishing sketch about a man turning into a Werewolf is indicative of the era, that it's an O.K idea, but not necessarily great. Plus a taped bit about Hanz and Franz's cousin Arnold Schwartzenegger who comes in and berates them about how 'unpumped' they are. I can't deny how memories clog my judgement, but I've seen enough episodes from that time to know I'm write in giving this episode 9 out of 10. There's just no beating this time in the shows history.
