Lottery for revenge
searchanddestroy-127 May 2016
This story takes place in a Latin America republic. Thomas Gomez plays the local dictator who tries to reduce to silent a man who resists him. The usual and predictable story of a man fighting for freedom against a despotic regime and who will receive the help of some American. Overall good atmosphere and rather good performances for this drama which maybe lacks some pace to be totally entertaining. A far as I remember, I already have seen dozens of stories like this one. So, I had no real surprise here. The country, Latin America republic, can easily be a communist one, even if it not mentioned. And, in such cases, America is never too far to help people waiting for help. This was a long time ago. This episode directed by Don - HADJI BABA - Weis is a little too boring for me, except the sequence of the man killing his girlfriend, a scene very unpredictable.
