Acts of Violence and Consequences
claudio_carvalho30 April 2006
When Lana Lang is assaulted by three drunken costumers, Clark Kent defends her and hits the guys, and the new Smallville Sheriff Nancy Adams (Camille Mitchell) arrests Clark. One of bad elements, Andrew Connors (Michael Adamthwaite), fakes a serious injury and sues the Kent in a huge amount. Dr. Helen Bryce is stalked by her former university boy-friend Paul Hayden (Anson Mount), a very sick and deranged man. Meanwhile, Lana Lang decides to have training in self-defense with Lex Luthor.

"Precipice" is another great episode of "Smallville". The story shows that for any act of violence, there is a consequence, which sometimes may not be fair and inclusive generate false accusation. My vote is nine.

Nancy is Uptight

Warning: Spoilers
The episode begins and ends exciting in this fairly good "Smallville" episode. Action abounds with a fight outside a coffee shop at the beginning, and on the road at the end.

While Lana is closing down the Talon for the night, three men attack her in an attempt to rob the shop. Clark saves her, beating up the guys, while Lana is turned away. However, Sheriff Nancy Adams arrests him for assault. Meanwhile, Lexgirl Helen is getting stalked by a former boyfriend. Friends Lex and Clark team up to stop the stalker before he can get out of town.

This episode is another OK one as the end of the season draws nearer.

So so episode

Warning: Spoilers
A fairly weak episode involving a lot of questionable law enforcement and legal issues. The fact that Lana was almost violently raped seems to have been completely ignored in this episode at least the law could care less. New sheriff seems to be a bit of a pointless new character brought on to create more drama.

Dumb Episode

Poorly written and illogical episode that adds nothing to the Clark Kent story. Tedious and tiresome.

Misogynistic rubbish

Warning: Spoilers
This episode is absolute garbage. With some heavy themes of sexual assault, domestic abuse, man-on-woman violence... the episode is largely focused on the emotions of Clark and Lex! It's almost cool that Lana is able to save herself but total nonsense that she's "all better now" from the trauma of being assaulted and almost raped TWICE. Helen also seems fine after being violently assaulted and almost murdered, and the focus on Lex's feelings at the end instead of him comforting her after a trauma... wild stuff.
