The intended talisman of a Kryptonian weapon becomes the man that Clark must stop in this average episode of the season.
Lionel Luthor, Professor Willowbrook, and Willowbrook's special student Jeremiah Holdsclaw, the future chief of the Kawache tribe, are in the cave exploring what it can do when the cave produces a long Kryptonian knife. Winding in the hands of Jeremiah, Jeremiah acquires the abilities of a Kryptonian and sends Lionel crashing on the ground on his way to rule others and destroy the enemy that the blade is intended to kill. Professor Willowbrook tells Clark that Jeremiah was empowered because he is intended to be the protector of the weapon until Naman (Clark) can get it to destroy his nemesis. However, the new powers that he has corrupts Jeremiah. Jeremiah is convinced that the enemy is Lionel, that Clark is a false prophet, and a good finish to the episode is the result.
The story of this episode is really interesting, but the actor who plays Jeremiah is quite frankly a fairly awful actor. For that reason alone, the episode merits an "8" rating, rather than a "9."
