A highly unusual plot makes this worth seeing.

I will freely admit that this episode of "Studio One" has a horrible organ accompaniment that is both distracting and which announces bad turns of events. However, despite this, the show is one of the better ones I've seen because the plot is so highly original and engaging. The story is a strange one--one about a group of prisoners who volunteer to participate in a cancer study. It seems that the men are to be implanted with cancer cells to determine if there is some family resistance to the disease. The main focus of the men is played by Richard Kiley--a man who ACTS cynical and unconcerned but whose actions show otherwise. As for the others, all but one are relatively noble men--one is just an evil jerk. What comes of all this? Well, I could tell you....but you should just see it yourself.

Good acting and good writing make this one worth your time. It might not be brilliant but it's highly original.
