Whenever Edgar Buchanan shows up, its a great episode. He gets the best lines and delivers them flawlessly. What a great comedic actor.

I got Nitroglycerine in my hand, any of you try to lay hands on me and I'll blow us all to kingdom come.... (other man speaks) "You'll be the first to go" Alright so I go.. 72 years old, Wore out, Lonesome, Pain in Every Joint, Ache in my BreastBone, Sometimes I look down and see the knife blade, Can't sleep nights, Can't stay awake in the Daytime, Friends gone, Folks Gone, Money's Gone, My Teeths are gone, My ears are ringing, My eyes are Fading, Seen everything by now there is to see anyway.

Bout all I have to look forward to between Now and the Slaughter Pen is Pain and Mange.

And You layin there trying to threaten me with the pain of Death? Heh,Heh,Heh.

Edgar, Edgar....

I wish I could get the script from this episode because Edgar has the FUNNIEST soliloquy complaining about being old. It goes on and on and I'll bet they got it in one take. He is just the best and steals every scene he's in. These Wells Fargo episodes are the salt of the earth and they beat anything the new genres have to offer. I'll be watching the shows from the black and white era for the rest of my life. Easy plots, accomplished actors, oh and great horses and music scores. So much care was taken with every aspect of the production. If I couldn't live in this era, at least I have these gems.
