Sometimes I guess the one who does the most deception gets away with it while those who just did as she told them to pays the hard price. This is one of those cases.
Boy, I think one of the worst kind of people is the one who can be so sweet, pretty, and deadly! Edith was one of those women. In this episode, she acted like the "girl next door" who was in love with the boy and wanted to marry him. She acted all upset that her man would try to rob a bank so they could get married. But boy, did she have HIM fooled!!!
Two days later, she's happily married to one of the other bank robbers, and poor Tom is none the wiser!
But what Hoby says at the end is very true - he's not going to mess with her, and no one else probably will either. So in the end, she lost big time - maybe more than the two men in her life...
Once a bride...but never again.
