This Virginian story has James Drury going to the town of Honesty, Wyoming which
is run by Richard Carlson whose power derives from his marriage to Dorothy Green. he also has a mistress in saloon manager Patricia Crowley.
Carlson is one all around rat and The Virginian is in town to collect $8000.00 he owes Shiloh ranch. But Carlson is killed and Drury is arrested.
Fortunately Drury has Clu Gulager come to town and a good defense attorney who uses some19th century forensics in his case. Harold Gould does a great job as the attorney.
And Gulager shows his nvestigative skills as he does in so many episodes. James Drury gets some good help in this story.
