Boyd and team have to take over and investigation from DI Jess Worrall, regarding the death of someone at the home office.
A real change in story from all that have gone before, this is the first time it's gotten political, and of course there are huge barriers in front of the team. The investigator adds a new edge, it's Grace's behavior towards her that's most interesting.
There are a lot of characters, so a huge number of suspects. Intrigue and drama aplenty.
Ruth Gemmell is excellent as Jess, but I much preferred her as Linda Cummings in later years. Such a small part for the wonderful Patricia Hodge.
