The Bride
Prismark1016 March 2021
Gessler's men had forcible taken an Italian Countess to marry. She also has lots of money which Gessler finds appealing.

Unfortunately the Countess thinks Gessler is a fat pig who is old enough to be her father.

Luckily William Tell and a few friends are on hand to rescue her. However Gessler's men surround them at a house and one of Tell's men is seriously injured.

It seems to be the case that when an arrow is inserted in the body, just pull it out and bandage the wound. You will soon be as right as rain.

There was a nice scene where Tell uses a table as cover to rescue another one of his comrades who is also injured by a crossbow.

Nadja Regin is very spiky as the Countess. Glyn Owen is one of Tell's friends who also has an eye for the Countess. He was more famous for Howard's Way.
