Good story.

A stranger, Cort McConnell, rides into town just when a robbery is taking place. McConnell tries to stop the robber but during the struggle the man gets away. When the dust settles a store-keeper is dead, two thousand dollars is missing and the only man the town fingers as the suspect is McConnell.

McConnell tries to tell his story to the local Sheriff but it seems that his story plays into the hands of the townsfolk that want instant justice with a hanging. There is a lot of circumstantial evidence that includes; McConnell having the robber's gun, McConnell having just over two thousand dollars and he is also riding a local man's horse. Things look bad for McConnell as the townsfolk decides not to wait for a trial.

This was an interesting story that shows how men follow what the believe without the facts to back the belief up. Mark Stevens did a nice job of playing the stranger that is accused of murder just because it was at the wrong place at the incorrect time. A nice story that was entertaining to the very end.
