Good small movie
valiesnails22 February 2006
Great movie for first time full feature.Noah combines a great story line that builds to a complete ending. Using a real small town during a time when the foliage is in full fall bloom is beautiful. Shows great potential for future endeavors. Movie starts out a little slow but progresses where you can actually understand what is going on. Everyone knows at least one of the characters portrayed here. It could be anyones story. The music that goes along with the film is not overwhelming but engages you right along with the movie. Very much enjoyed this film and as always, to fully understand or enjoy a movie you must watch it more than once. Check out the music and the CD's that go along with this movie and you will then enjoy it even more. I wish everyone with the indie spirit takes the time to check out this movie and this first time feature writer/director. Great Job Noah, looking forward to your next adventure.

A wonderful independent film!! Great characters. Great film. A+

Friendship Hotel is very fitting of it's name.....it is a beautiful story of friendship and the unexpected convergence of the lives of the characters. It is well written and directed. By the end of the movie, you feel like you know the characters personally and are cheering for them. I was very moved by many of the scenes, but one scene starring the inn keeper was absolutely heart-wrenching.....a beautiful scene by an exceptional actor. It had me in tears. Watch this movie and you will see what I mean! My favorite aspect of Friendship Hotel is the wonderful character development that carries on throughout the entire film. It is a very deep story so pay close attention to the details. All in all, a great independent film!

Friendship Hotel
emm-91 March 2006
Friendship Hotel is a movie about the reality of how life is for many people. This could be anyone's story. It is a movie about some very good and not so good people in a small town. How these people got into and out of situations. It was a very down to earth story and it will keep your eyes riveted to the screen so you don't miss anything. You want to tell the actors to be more careful at times. I promise this is a movie you can enjoy. It is the way life is. A reality film and a very good one. It is put together in a way that binds the times, the story and the people in a small town. Our town USA. Go see it for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

Great Film and Stellar Performances!
llchino9 March 2006
Friendship Hotel was a great film and Director Noah Ehlert exceeded my expectations with this one. Great writing and the story was laid out perfectly. The movie got you interested right away and held your attention all the way through. As soon as you realize the mystery of each main character, the film explodes to a culminating ending. I'm already waiting for the director's next film! The performances by Gayle Brown and David Robinette were nothing short of stellar. David laid down his mysterious character "Jessie" without flaw and Gayle's character "Vivian" rained with emotion. Stu Richel did a great job carrying the audience and providing a spine for the story playing "Harold." I suspect this is not the last time I will see these actors participating in a feature film!
