Warning: Spoilers
Some of these plot lines are so bizarre.

A plot could be devised around a light bulb needing to be changed and a man doesn't know how to tell his wife and thinks up schemes to keep her from finding out. Hilarity ensues.

Such is the case here. Next door newlywed neighbor friends Harry and his wife Rita are unpacking in the house and Harry finds a negligee left there by his secretary, who stayed in his home while he was in Europe.

He rushes outside and stashed the negligee in the trash, then, since his phone isn't hooked up, he runs over to the Baxters and uses their phone to call the secretary, Susan, and ask her if she left a negligee in his place. She says she did.

Meanwhile, Hazel finds the negligee in the trash and Rita steps out as she does so. Hazel hands the negligee over to Rita.

Harry then says the negligee came from his secretary, who is a 62 or 72 year old woman. Rita has seen a picture of Susan with Harry from before their marriage and she knows Susan isn't an old woman.

So now Susan is outraged Harry said she was old and George Baxter wants the forms or documents he needs from Harry.

Who caused all this commotion? Susan and Harry turn to look at Hazel.

So Hazel made this mess by finding the negligee HARRY put in the trash can and giving it to Rita! This is actually said to be ridiculous in the show and Harry is told he made the mess.

But the attempt to make Hazel the center of attention was cheesy at best.

In the end the very elderly Harry and very young and beautiful Rita kiss and make up. Rather nauseating actually.
