Cracking start to a brilliant series. Jimmy has some of the best dance moves I've seen for a long time.

Jimmy Meets Pufnstuf

A boy named Jimmy has a magic talking flute and he washes ashore on a magical place called Living Island.
A good starting point for the show. Many characters are introduced and the standard plot of kooky Witchiepoo trying steal Freddie the talking flute also makes it's debut. HR Pufnstuf is the mayor of Living Island, he sounds like Andy Griffith. Dr Blinky is an owl who is the typical absent minded professor with an imitation Ed Wynn voice. Judy Frog is based on Judy Garland and she tries to help Jimmy and Pufnstuf. Jack Wild gets a song to sing "I Wish We Could Be Back Home".
