Cast correction

Warning: Spoilers
As Gene Roland, I played the part of Vito Vendetta from Cony. The actor listed in the credits, Gene Rowland is in many other movies, but not the Goddaughter (1972). Cathy Hilton, who appears in the fellatio scene with me, asked, "What is simulation?" I told her, "You just don't actually put it in." Her "simulation" turned out to be more like "stimulation. The director of this film, in response to my ad lib to the head nun, "We knows yous is all nice goils, or you wouldn't be here in the foist place!" not only cut my ad lib out of the film, he had the nerve to ask me, "What do you think this is, a comedy?" I don't know. Watch the gunshot from the rectum, and you tell me. I also appeared with Becky Sharp and Ushi Digart in "The Egyptians are Coming! The Egyptians are Coming!" in 1971.

Jane Tsentas!!!!
mw-9543620 July 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Jane Tsentas is a leggy blonde who appeared in many films in the early 70's; mostly softcore, and her almost-hardcore scenes were usually lesbian. But in the opening scene of this film she works with Keith Ericksen, and while the scene starts out soft, Jane ends up giving him a handjob and getting him off, squeezing out all of his fluids in a graceful hand motion.

To me, this is what dying and getting into heaven must feel like. The rest of the film did nothing for me.

Poorly made porn spoof, with dollop of XXX
lor_5 July 2011
THE GODDAUGHTER makes no bones about satirizing the Francis Coppola/Mario Puzo classic, with some funny moments but mostly klutzy & tasteless content. It has just a few seconds of hardcore porn footage (extent in the Something Weird Video release) -perhaps a lengthier version was made for XXX houses.

An attractive female cast keeps it watchable, even as the clumsiness takes hold. Storyline ain't bad, as with the old Don Mario dead, the West Coast Carrione family of the Mafia is in trouble. The Dons from the East are eager to take over, and current family head Don Michael (Alan Sinclair, presumably not the director of that name who was shooting hardcore features for Nick Millard at the time) is a swishy homosexual, assassinated in the opening wedding scene. He's murdered by a topless, busty beauty who pops out of the wedding cake.

The clan needs a replacement, so they import a long-lost child of Don Mario from Sardinia, who turns out to be, much to their dismay, a nun named Toni (Tracy Handfuss, a looker in the title role).

The other Dons torture Toni, literally crucifying her on a cross. The family gets its revenge with crazy & violent scenes out of some ILSA THE SHE WOLF movie, with Toni inserting a candle into her own vagina in closeup (that's XXX, baby!) with a needle sticking out, to poison lesbian Frankie Fountain when latter goes down on Toni. Typical of the outré script here credited to goofy pornographer John Donne, Frankie (Margot Devletian) is in the Frank Sinatra/Al Martino role of a singer needing the Mafia's aid to get a coveted movie role in the musical ANYTHING GOES (presumably the Mitzi Gaynor part!).

Uschi Digard is one of the Carriones' gangster molls, smothering a bad guy with her breasts (a couple years before the ploy was assigned by Doris Wishman to Chesty Morgan), and killing another guy Ursula Andress style by shooting him with a bullet from one of her nipples, an actually nicely faked effect. Lucy (not Luca) Brassi is played by a phony "Dmitri Roxoff", who reminded me of porn star John Keith, among the many pseudonyms.

Somewhat lost in the shuffle is Bonny (cute Diana Hardy, an Annie Sprinkle type), sort of cast in the Talia Shire role. Popular porn starlet Kathy Hilton as Satin went over the line, providing a few seconds of explicit fellatio action in an otherwise softcore simulation scene of the "cover it up with your hand" variety. Hollywood producer Big Jake Phallustine is amusing, fitted with a huge marital aid to represent his "huge dick" that he calls a "stallion ganglia". It is sucked in closeup fellatio shots, sort of hardcore/almost, and is delivered severed to him in the hospital rather than Puzo's famous horse's head, after Babe Piranha (cute "Angel Horn") bites it off.

Soundtrack is amusingly loaded with the sort of music one expects in a mafia film, with the Italian wedding music, plus odd lifts like Narciso Yepes' haunting guitar theme standard from FORBIDDEN GAMES to Ennio Morricone musical cues from THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY.
