For the last week of July, there may not be a lot of titles being released onto DVD and Blu-ray, but the ones that are making their debut are absolutely an impressive bunch.
On Tuesday, Synapse Films is bringing the 1983 cult classic Curtains to Blu-ray for the very first time ever and Paramount is making every Twin Peaks fan’s dreams come true this week with their Twin Peaks: The Entire Mystery box set, which includes all the missing footage that we’ve all been waiting to be released for decades. Other titles coming out include the indie thriller The Den as well as a new Mystery Science Theater 3000 collection from Shout Factory.
Curtains (Synapse Films, Blu-ray & DVD)
John Vernon (Chained Heat, National Lampoon’s Animal House) and Samantha Eggar (The Brood, The Exterminator) star in this horror classic from the golden age of the slasher genre.

Spoiler Alert: Stop reading this amalgamation of letters and punctuation if you don’t want to know what happens in tonight’s elimination episode of The Voice!
After Jesse Campbell and Jordis Unga were ousted by the coaches last night, America voted to save Chris Mann and Jermaine Paul, leaving the four remaining artists to sing for their lives. Christina went with her heart and saved Lindsey Pavao, while Blake opted to keep Erin Willett — meaning that Ashley De La Rosa and RaeLynn were kicked to the curb. With that, we’re down to 12… halfway to the finale!

As you probably know by now, ABC has cancelled My Generation after two weeks on the air. The drama got off to a poor start in the ratings and the numbers sank much lower for week two.

Welcome to the TV Fanatic Grey's Anatomy Round Table, in which our panelists discuss the burning questions from the previous episode of the long-running ABC drama.
We are pleased to bring back this fun feature after a brief hiatus. Topics for our "Shock to the System" Round Table Q&A and the Tvf staffers' answers appear below ...
1. What was your favorite Grey's Anatomy quote from the episode?
L.J. Gibbs: Meredith revealing the miscarriage was the most emotional, but I liked her speech to Alex even more, beginning with "You're not that special" and ending with "You're not a lightning rod Alex, just a guy that's been through a lot of crap." Well said, and someone had to say it!
M.L. House: Bailey on Karev's bullet: "It is not fine. It is foreign and it has no business being in your body. Get it out Karev ... or I will...

With the images of "Shock to the System" still fresh in our minds, Grey's Anatomy returns with a doozy, "Superfreak" of an episode this coming Thursday, October 7.
As many of you likely know, this marks the latest crossover with ABC's other Shonda Rhimes universe, Private Practice. The characters involved: Two Shepherds.
Derek and Amelia. There's not a lot of love lost between the siblings, so when he receives an unexpected visit from his estranged sister, you could say it's unwelcome.
Meanwhile, the Chief tries to help Alex cope with the fallout from his near-fatal shooting; and Meredith and Derek continue to try to ease Cristina back into surgery.
Here's ABC's first promo for the episode ...

Grey's Anatomy shed viewers on Thursday night compared to its premiere ratings last week, according to overnight data. 'Shock To The System' drew 12.23m for ABC, 1.8m down week-on-week. Private Practice followed with 8.03m. Earlier, My Generation sank to 3.94m. Winning the 8pm hour, CBS's combination of The Big Bang Theory and S#*! My Dad Says brought in respective audiences of 12.97m and 10.44m, then (more)...

Since last week’s Grey’s Anatomy premiere, Meredith had tried to get Dr. Perkins to clear her for surgery and didn’t get it until the closing moments of “Shock to the System.”
It was pretty amusing to watch Meredith turning on the waterworks for the Doc in the beginning of this weeks episode. She even wore the proper mascara to leave streaks!
In all seriousness, it took Meredith to finally admit to Derek that she had a miscarriage for her to realize that there are things in this life that are totally out of her control.
She can’t fix everything and everyone and sometimes you just has to go with it.
Meredith and Derek embrace after she finally tells him.
Cristina definitely had the biggest meltdown scene of the week. I knew from the moment Teddy and Owen were pushing the Chief to clear her, it was a bad idea.

Grey's Anatomy is officially on a roll. Building on the momentum from the gripping season six finale and the dazzling season seven premiere, "Shock to the System" proves that lightning can actually strike not just twice, but multiple times. This show is ablaze in goodness right now. While I'm pleasantly astounded that the aftermath of the shooting spree is clearly going to play out over several episodes (or perhaps the whole season), here's the hard truth. Our Ga friends are a mess. They are in bad, bad shape. Season six really was the season that changed everything and the healing has only just begun.
Meredith and Cristina
The Twisted Sisters took center stage this episode and for good reason: they are the heart and soul of the show. Their friendship may be the greatest "love story" Ga has ever told. As the episode opens, Meredith is trying to convince the...

Meredith finally told Derek the offseason's biggest piece of news tonight on Grey's Anatomy, as the surgeons continued to grapple with the aftermath of the tragic shooting.
Cristina, meanwhile, reacted in a manner few could have predicted. How will this tough surgeon bounce back going forward? And will Alex finally man up or keep kidding himself?
We'll recap "Shock to the System" in detail shortly. For now, we want to hear from you regarding the episode, in the form of comments and votes in our informal survey below ...

We saw part of this scene in one of the six sneak previews of Thursday's Grey's Anatomy that we posted yesterday, but ABC has just released a newer, extended version.

This week on Grey's Anatomy, Meredith finally tells Derek about the miscarriage and is cleared to return to surgery, while perhaps Cristina should not have been, as she experiences Ptsd at a really bad time - the worst possible time for a doctor, as a matter of fact.

Below are photos from the October 7 episode of Grey's Anatomy, "Superfreak." For images from this coming week's episode, "Shock to the System," check out this photo gallery.
The following episode serves as a crossover of sorts with Private Practice. Derek receives an unexpected and unwelcome visit from his estranged sister, Amelia (Caterina Scorsone).
As Caterina herself recently teased, there are many issues between the siblings - both past and present - that come to the surface. Here's a look at the siblings' awkward reunion:
This should be interesting, to say the least. Meanwhile, Richard tries to help out Alex when he notices that he's refusing to use the elevators after his near-fatal shooting; and Meredith and Derek continue their efforts to ease Cristina back into surgery after her Ptsd.

The gunman incident on "Grey's Anatomy" is still very much alive in some people's mind. Newlywed Cristina experiences post-traumatic stress disorder in the midst of an operation, falling onto the floor and unable to move her body.
