Nice to see Nelson develop some More,

Sleeping with the Enemy is a great Simpsons episode with a very well written storyline and plenty of very funny scenes. We get to see Nelson's character develop significantly for the first time, the show had made several jokes and references relating to his family and living conditions in previous episodes, but in this we get to see some proper depth in his character and begin to look at the character beyond simply being a bully, I really like that. I think the episode definitely could have revolved around Nelson's parents a bit more, we could have learned more about his mother certainly, they are easily characters the show could go back to at some stage in the future, there is a story to tell there. I enjoyed Lisa's side story, it was a very different moment for this character but I think it was a necessary subject to tackle and they did it well, filled with humour but also realism that this is a problem facing many teenagers. Sleeping with the Enemy is a fun and very sweet Simpsons episode.

Nelson moves in with the Simpsons after he starts becoming close to Marge.

Loads going on in a fun episode

Warning: Spoilers
With her own children not appreciating her Marge ends up turning to Nelson to mother in this sweet episode of the show from the 16th series.

With it being the 16th series the writers now have such a wide range of supporting characters to use in order to carry episodes, and Nelson is a fun one to flesh out a little.

The B story involving Lisa and her getting paranoid about her weight shows that even at this stage 'The Simpsons' can still make some important topical points.

I of course also did enjoy Ralph Wiggum playing 'Duck,Duck, Goose'.

The Best Episode of Season 16.

Great episode! I think that this episode is possibly the funniest as well as the most emotional of Season 16. Nelson and Marge bonding, Lisa has a big butt (definitely the funniest since Lizard Queen),; etc.

Say it with me, everyone!

Nobody told me

It was a party

It looked like a party

With cheese and wine

And stuff you'll find at a party

It was confidential

Now it has the potential

To bring me, bring me down!

BTW, that's how I personally felt about the party that was thrown in the episode of The Simpsons that was broadcast on RTE2 on 1st February 2022.
