Plenty of comedies have done spoofs of movies or other series, but in this episode of 'Perfect Strangers' the cast (and the set designers) pull off a near-miracle: a carbon-copy recreation of a "Honeymooners" episode, with Larry, Balki, and their ladies doing dead-on impersonations of Ralph Kramden, Ed Norton and their wives ....in glorious black and white, natch.
It'd be interesting to know how long it took these talented actors to perfect their mimicry of the iconic bus driver and sewer worker.
The likenesses and movements are uncanny -especially Mark Linn-Baker's Ralph. This is easily the best spoof I've ever seen on a comedy series.
