Uneven, to be sure, 'Operation Time' has the Mysterons announcing they'll kill time, which completely befuddles Spectrum. But it turns out they're just going to kill General Tiempo (cheeky Brits sneaking in some Spanish on us). This episode is significant for revealing a major development in the war with the Mysterons - that high voltage is the key killing 'em. It's kind of an interesting idea, but they also die from gunshots, explosions, pretty much anything that ends humans as well. The other notable is Captain Black at his most ruthless, hunting down a neuro surgeon in the street and forcing him to crash (all the while shooting at his car). It's like something out of a road horror movie.
But these things happen in an episode bogged down with some very tedious operating room scenes. The routine is lone while short on action. Easily pegged as one of the show's duller outings.
