Interesting when a sitcom does a home all alone episode the actor always talks to themselves. They really have to I imagine or there'd be nothing to build off of. I thought Vicki Lawrence did a remarkable acting job with the tough job of going solo for half the episode. Thelma really didn't put much effort into finding something interesting to do with her time. The not going to her Sunday church service because it was raining was a logic stretch. Some funny Iola (Beverly Archer) lines revealing funny stories about her loopy parents. I'd imagine Bubba went to a community college rather than a university because of finances and average grades. A fraternity wouldn't seem available at a community college.

One of the worst episodes...
I love Mamas family but this episode sucks.
Not worth the time to watch mama dancing around and singing by herself and continually talking to a gold fish...lord! I wish i could get my time back!
