June and Steve investigate the theft of a woman's handbag, stolen after she spends an evening with a male escort. Gary and George investigate a teenage thief.
Enjoyed this, it's a slightly lighter episode, the whole idea of male escorts seems as far distant from 1993 as an I phone, so it gives this one a real sense of originality.
I liked the old dear that was running the dating agency, she was good fun.
The most distressing thing here was the hairstyle of Tommy Oakes, we've not seen too many of those 90's barnets so far, but there it is, the era defining curtains.
Thirty quid for the evening, Pete would be better off financially doing his plumbing job. I thought actor Neil Daglish did a pretty good job as Pete, a very likeable character.
8/10.
