This is a good episode, I liked some the scenes that the characters share.
It begins with Barnabas going to the secret room and finding Chris on the floor, the coffin has been knocked over. They go back to Chris' cottage where they find Julia. David, worried about Quentin and Chris, later comes over. I liked the scene between them, they seemed to share a mutual liking to each other. While they are out of the room, Quentin's ghost comes (invisible) and puts some strychnine in Chris' bottle of brandy.
While Barnabas and Chris are waiting for the moon, Chris says he does not feel a transformation coming on. Barnabas leaves and Chris takes a drink.
Julia talks to Barnabas a bit about werewolves, bringing up the old legend about someone becoming one if they are attacked by a werewolf and surviving. Since that did not happen to Chris, we don't get an explanation.
Final moments has the ghost of Beth leading Barnabas and Julia to a dying Chris.
