More rivalry between Burke and Barnabas when they visit the abandoned house was Victoria and Barnabas disappears to look through the rest of the house and comes back with a surprise for Victoria. They then go to the Blue Whale where we discovered that Victoria does actually drink alcohol,, and there is certainly the temptation to hope that Barnabas will do the frug to the often repeated record on the jukebox. But they get the surprise of a lifetime when a certain alleged deceased character walks into the bar, showing Barnabas with a look of shock on his face the first time in all of his appearances.
The music becomes very dramatic with the entrance of this character, and it is prolonged for dramatic effect that really works. It's obvious who it is, a character assisted out of her hiding place by a young ghost in the most clever of ways. Alice Drummond gets more screen time and dialogue as nurse Jackson, and I can't wait to see Dr. Hoffman's reaction when she finds out. This is the last Black and White episode with the impending scene re-filmed in color.
