A man, a woman, and a horse named WIld Whisper
lor_24 July 2021
Producer-director Nicholas Steele and his talented crew inluding the Booth brothers make Romantic eroticism look easy in this classic Adam & Eve/Ultimate Pictures. Unfortunately, it's become a lost art, so I revel in watching these Adult movies for Couples made two decades ago.

Setting is a horse ranch owned by Evan Stone with his brother Joel Lawrence & Lawrence's wife Kylie Ireland. Star E. Knight phones and inquires about buying a top horse, but Evan gives her the brushoff, disinterested in dealing with an arrogant city slicker.

Of course the seemingly incompatible leads will ultimately fall in love, but with Saint's hypnotic musical score, lovely visuals by his brother (aka Philip O'toole) and fine acting by Evan and Star the viewer falls under this film's spell. And the beautiful horse WIld Whisper commands the screen representing the link between our protagonists.

Steele has cast handsome studs including Stone in peak form plus Julian, Lawrence, Colt Steele and Ian Daniels, and the femme supporting cast is impressive led by Kylie and Monica Mayhem. Early in her career Knight is a formidable leading lady, forgotten today but a major discovery at the time who went on to solid performances under contract to Jill Kelly.

For once, a second disk in the DVD package is worth watching, including a key interview with Nick Steele in which he details his approach to making real (emphasizing love stories) movies in the Adult genre, plus an amazing no bullshit interview in the BTS short subject with costar Dillon Day about working in the porn biz.
