Nice insight into the feature film.

"Fine Art" is a rare exception where I actually liked the making of featurette more than the feature ("Vincent & Theo"). I think a lot of this is because I used to teach and some of my classes were detailed examinations into the work and mental health of Vincent Van Gogh. And, the film did a good job of giving the behind the scenes information about the movie. I particularly thought it helpful learning just how small the budget was for the film and how they got the pictures for the feature. It consisted of several interviews--particularly with the producer and director (Robert Altman) and did NOT have interviews with the actors. Overall, it's a good film and one worth seeing if you get the DVD of "Vincent & Theo".
