Ozzie brings another delightful episode. Our story centers around trading stamps and a stamp Redemption Center.
Mrs Peabody, the president of the Woman's Club, is retiring. Harriet and Clara and some of the other girls are trying to decide what kind of a gift they should get her. Clara comes over for an emergency meeting with the other girls to decide the issue. Joe is with her and the conversation rolls around to saving stamps. Ozzie makes the remark that Harriet must have about 50 of them. Harriet says that she doesn't. Harriet says that if there's something he wants with the stamps he should get them. Ozzie says he may do that someday.
At the meeting, the girls discover that they do not have a lot of money in the treasury. Harriet gets an idea and decides to get a tea set from the stamp catalog to give to their president. The only trouble is can the girls get the stamps collected from the other members in time for tonight?
I always love the episodes where Darby and his wife are on. It's also nice when all six can get involved with the story. Ozzie such a good job threading things through throughout the series.
