A pretty good episode, seems to be a set up for future events.
We finally get a long awaiting reunion of my two favorite characters. Barnabas calls out to Angelique and she appears to him in the tower room. He swears to defeat her but she says only love can change her. She shows Barnabas a vision of a hooded figure who stakes him in his coffin.
Quentin is plotting against Barnabas, he has made a voodoo doll of him. He also is talking to Jamison, appointing him as his spy. He tells Jamison to get a personal possession of Barnabas', his cane.
Jamison goes to the old house and finds Magda, I still can't get Julia Hoffman off my mind when I see her. She stops him from taking the cane.
However, he somehow gets it to Quentin in the next scene. Quentin suddenly has hypnotic powers over Jamison. Magda rushes in and says she sees the mark of death on Quentin.
