All entries into the middle of a conversation are brilliant ways to put your audience off balance and draw them in at the same time. What is going on and who is it going on with? This is one of the great things that makes so many great movies great; The Godfather; opening scene: BAM! LEON, The Professional: PANG! Even Swordfish was off to a great start with one of the best opening monologues I have seen (Well it was OK) before the movie went through the floor. (Well, it did bring us Hugh Jackman so I will let it slide). Its a solid vehicle. And a great set up for whatever follows. We love to be sucked in and beaten or tickled or teased or abused or freaked out. SO I say get the ball rolling and prepared to be...What? Did you think I was going to tell you?
