An enjoyable political mystery.

A model named Mary Bernard is pushed out of a window during a shoot, her death made to look like suicide. Tom Amyas MP gives Jemima a titbit about a potential leak at Westminster.

It's a good episode, an interesting, predominantly political thriller, in which Jemima once again goes way beyond her duties as a TV reporter, flexing her sleuthing muscles.

It's quite a well paced mystery, it's intriguing, it's interesting, if there is one thing I wish they'd done, and that's not to have shown Mary's death, they give us sau too much in the opening fee minutes, not seeing it would have added some suspense.

There are a few similarities to one of Antonia Fraser's novel, A Political Murder, it is some time since I last read it, but there are some links.

Lots of 80's glamour, you see the real contrasts, the younger element, the models contrasted against Jemima's very conservative appearance.

Well acted, it was great to see a young Bill Nighy, David Houston and Philip Martin Brown are very good here.

8/10.
