Decently done

The last episode of the show and it ends on a high. A nice little power struggle between two very different witches, one white and one black, in a posh bohemian household. Gwyneth Strong gives the best performance I've ever seen from her and the whole thing feels nicely done, courtesy of writer Fay Weldon.

A classic episode to finish off the series.

This episode is truly a masterpiece. It is one of the two best episodes of all three seasons. Written by Fay Weldon it has her usual wit and craftsmanship. The filming is lovely, the cast all interesting. Special mention for the brilliant acting by those playing Honeyann and Saffrey. The ever present lurking cat (the nanny incognito) is menacing and prying. The concept of a simple skeptical girl employing her mothers skills in witchcraft to combat the evils spells of the nanny works wonderfully. A true golden episode with not a second wasted. The series finishes on a high note.
