The Big Bang Theory owes its immense popularity not only to the talented cast and the compelling storyline revolving around four geek friends that have to navigate through life using their gifted minds, but also to the impressive list of guest stars that ever appeared in there.
And though Sheldon Cooper, portrayed by Jim Parsons, could’ve seemed to be extremely calm while sharing the screen with the biggest stars, the actor himself was pretty much affected by these situations.
Throughout the whole run of 12 seasons, the show’s main cast got to work with the pop culture and science’s legendary figures like Stan Lee, Stephen Hawking, Charlie Sheen, Bob Newhart and many others — but one movie star in particular made Jim Parsons forget how to breathe normally for some time.
As he revealed, sharing the screen with Star Wars’ legendary actor James Earl Jones got him a weird feeling.

The Big Bang Theory is an ensemble cast show where every character serves a particular point in the story. That’s why it’s impossible to say who is more important for the narrative, as without any of them the show would never be the same.
Of course, we could have lived without some of the side characters, even if by paying the price of leaving out many ridiculous storylines and funny scenes. But apparently, there were some people who we even didn’t notice being left out of the story.
The people we are talking about are actually Penny's friends, introduced gradually under different circumstances. However, as the story progressed, even Penny's few friends ended up in the void. But why? Is it really Leonard's fault?
Well, there are some fan theories that Leonard drove away all of Penny's friends, not in a brutal alpha-male way, but by...

The Big Bang Theory, a comedy sitcom about a group of scientist friends that deal with their love life and career achievements throughout the whole series, came to its end back in 2019 with a seemingly good turn of events for every main character.
And while most of them indeed showed up on the peak of their life in all aspects, one particular character’s storyline still seems to have been unfinished.
In the show’s finale Sheldon and Amy are a happy couple that receives the Nobel Prize in Physics after having worked together on super asymmetry, Leonard and Penny are expecting their first child and Howard also happily lives with Bernadette and their two children.
The only one that can’t really boast of anything significant is Rajesh Koothrappalli, in the series portrayed by Kunal Nayyar.

Until the end of its television run back in 2019, The Big Bang Theory has been a raving success watched by millions of devoted fans across the globe, but not everything in the sitcom was that successful — and fans have their point regarding one specific episode.
Episode 22 of season 10 was crashed by both critics and viewers, ending up with only 6.8 on IMDb and becoming the show’s significant failure that, in its turn, failed to show the main characters in a right way.
Season 10 finds Leonard and Penny stronger than ever after their hop-on/ hop-off relationships during the previous seasons. Here the characters are already married, yet Leonard still appears to have some trust issues towards Penny.
Episode 22 shows the latter reflecting on a big job opportunity that she got from none other than her ex-boyfriend Zack, but the idea is clearly disapproved by Leonard who, even after having married Penny,...

Young Sheldon is ending in May 2024 but the world of the Big Bang Theory spin-off is continuing. While Sheldon Cooper’s story ends when he goes to Cal-Tech, the world continues with a new series following SHeldon’s big brother Georgie and his wife Mandy.
The series just got a new title, and the title sounds like a fan theory from Big Bang Theory might be coming true. Here is what you need to know.
Young Sheldon Spin-Off To Prove Tbbt Theory?
Young Sheldon ends this month because producers feel it is a perfect time to end the story. Sheldon left for Cal-Tech, where he starts his new life, and without Sheldon around his family, there is no story there as far as he is concerned. However, fans fell in love with Sheldon’s family and that is where the world continues.
The new show follows Sheldon’s older brother Georgie and his wife Mandy.

Taurus (April 20 - May 20) is the only zodiac sign that combines so many different traits that it seems absolutely impossible for one person to represent them all. But somehow we really do! And believe me when I say it, because I am a Taurus.
We are loyal, stubborn, sensual, extremely lazy or the most hardworking people out there. We can work without weekends for months but still be the ones who will somehow put their comfort before all. We love hedonistic lifestyle: literally, there are only few things that I enjoy more than going out for some fancy food.
Our preferences are all over the place, and that includes the TV shows we like. So here's a list of series every Taurus will find extremely bingeable.

What’s the deal with being politically correct? Comedian Jerry Seinfeld is once again going after PC and woke culture, saying they are responsible for the demise of the American sitcom.
On a recent episode of The New Yorker Radio Hour, Jerry Seinfeld said that while there is always a hunger for good comedy, the sitcom has suffered greatly because people – both those making the decisions and tuning in every week – are too easily offended. “Nothing really affects comedy. Over the course of its 12-year-old run, The Big Bang Theory has never lost sight of any of the four main characters with each and every single one of them being extremely different from the others.
Apart from omnipresent Sheldon and Leonard, the show also featured their long-time close friend Howard Wolowitz portrayed by Simon Helberg throughout the whole series.
While now everyone can hardly imagine any other actor in this role, the show’s creators initially had someone else in mind — and Helberg could’ve lost his iconic character to his actual co-star.
As Jessica Radloff’s book, The Big Bang Theory: The Definitive, Inside Story of the Epic Hit Series, suggests, Howard Wolowitz’s part was initially offered to Kevin Sussman — he later on ended up staying in the show and portraying Stuart Bloom, a comic book store owner.

While there are many different roles and projects that Annie Potts can be recognized for, the actress has warmed our hearts and made us laugh out loud as Meemaw for the past seven years on Young Sheldon, the prequel spinoff of The Big Bang Theory.
The series gave fans insight into Sheldon’s childhood in East Texas and more importantly, his loving and hilarious family. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end and on May 16, we will have to say goodbye to the Cooper family in a two-part series finale.
Before that tearful day, however, Den of Geek had the opportunity to speak with Potts about the story’s legacy, her thoughts on the emotional finale, why she chose to join the cast, working with the younger actors on the show over the years, and more.

Young Sheldon had a good run. The CBS sitcom and The Big Bang Theory prequel starring Iain Armitage, Annie Potts, and co. is now wrapping with its seventh and final season. Undoubtedly, it is much heavier on the cast to say goodbye to the show that was started about seven years ago, focusing on the younger version of Sheldon Cooper.
The cast of Young Sheldon in season 5
For Potts, it is far too hard to wrap up the show as the actor revealed that she was devastated by the news of the show ending with the seventh season. Potts first appeared in the third episode of the first season of the show playing Sheldon and his siblings’ MeeMaw, Connie Tucker, and she has been a regular till the end.

It’s official: Young Sheldon is leaving Medford, Texas, to pursue his Big Bang Theory future in Pasadena, Calif.
In the sixth-to-last episode of the prequel series, a recently published paper co-authored by the future Dr. Cooper led to a frenzy of grad school recruiting. Harvard, M.I.T., Princeton, Stanford and the University of Toronto all came a-knockin’ with generous offers. But the 14-year-old scientist, who hates change, strongly considered continuing his education at East Texas Tech.

Leanne Morgan, the comedian whose stand-up special I’m Every Woman brought the down-home, relatable laughs, will become a sitcom matriarch now that Netflix has ordered 16 episodes of an as-yet-untitled multicamera series, in which she’ll star and serve as co-creator and executive producer. The scripted comedy series is co-created by Morgan and prolific TV comedy writer and producer Chuck Lorre (The Big Bang Theory), whose most recent project for Netflix is the Golden Globe–winning The Kominsky Method.
The as-yet untitled project will kick off with Leanne’s life taking an unexpected turn when her husband of 33 years leaves her for another woman. The rest of the logline covers topics that will sound familiar to fans of Morgan’s stand-up: “Starting over when you’re a grandmother and in menopause isn’t exactly what she had in mind, but with the help of her family she will navigate this new chapter with grace,...

Annie Potts strongly disagrees with CBS‘s decision to end Young Sheldon with Season 7. The Big Bang Theory prequel is set to air its series finale on Thursday, May 16. Leading up to the final episode, Potts is saying she’s “shocked” by the cancellation, calling it a “such a stupid business move.” The Designing Women alum plays Connie “Meemaw” Tucker, Sheldon’s (Iain Armitage) grandmother, in the hit family sitcom. She didn’t see the end coming. “I still don’t understand why they canceled it,” Potts told Variety. “It just seemed like such a stupid business move.” “This [cancellation] was especially hard because I was completely unprepared. I was shocked,” she continued. “I mean, the No. 1 show on network TV, No. 1 on Netflix. We’re, I think, all that people watch on TikTok besides a couple of recipes for pasta… If a show is starting to drag or lag or...

Netflix’s 3 Body Problem delivered its second straight No. 1 showing among streaming titles, leading the rankings for the last week of March. The acquired series top 10 had several new entrants, thanks in part to a change in how Nielsen reports the numbers.
The ratings service says it made an “enhancement” to its Streaming Content Ratings, which is the basis for the weekly top 10 lists, that results in a number of programs being added to the Scr product. (They weren’t previously “due to business agreements which preceded the rankings, coupled with the associated technical aspects of measurement.”) The affected programs stream mostly on Hulu and Peacock after airing on linear networks.
The upshot is that former Fox series The Resident (1.48 billion minutes on Hulu and Netflix) and animated mainstays Family Guy (837 million minutes on Hulu) and American Dad (619 million on Hulu) all made their first appearance in the top...

CBS sitcom "The Bob Newhart Show" was a staple for American TV audiences of the '70s, thanks in large part to clever writing and Newhart's much-loved performance as psychologist and comedic straight man Bob Hartley. The show ran for six seasons from 1972 to 1978, but it had a surprisingly long pop cultural afterlife. Characters from "The Bob Newhart Show" have popped up in everything from "Murphy Brown" to "St. Elsewhere" to "Alf," though their most famous reappearance came in the jokey "Newhart" finale in 1990. In it, Newhart wakes up in bed next to his wife from the previous series and discovers that this entire sitcom was all an elaborate dream. "The Bob Newhart Show," it turned out, was his real world.

The docuseries Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV posted Max’s best streaming numbers to date for its premiere week.
The show, which streamed on Max concurrent with its on-air premiere on ID, had 1.25 billion minutes of viewing for the week of March 18-24. That’s the largest weekly total for any series on Max in the nearly four years of Nielsen’s streaming rankings, edging out the 1.19 billion for The Last of Us in early 2023.
Netflix’s 3 Body Problem grabbed the overall No. 1 spot for the week (it premiered March 21), racking up 1.37 billion minutes over its first four days. The sci-fi series narrowly beat Prime Video’s remake of Road House, which had 1.32 billion minutes of viewing in the United States. Amazon had earlier claimed that the movie was Prime Video’s biggest film premiere worldwide so far.
