A Sergeant and three Privates are posted to Nether Hopping, Snudge arranges for them to have accommodation for the night, they choose hut 29, when the lads return from an evening out, they discover the visitors are female.
Just before I begin, am I going mad, or have I seen this exact plot used in an earlier episode, was there one where Bootsie fell in love with a member of the wrens, and a similar scenario played out, it did I somehow imagine it.
It was ok, every single gag was telegraphed, it didn't have the usual flair or originality, I just felt as though I'd already seen it, so much so that I rewound it to the start just to double check.
Some mildly amusing moments, the only thing about it that I really enjoyed, was the performance of Barbara Hicks, a wonderful actress, with some many quality credits to her name.
