Landscape architect Julian Cavendish and his father Richard run the ancestral Cornwall tree nursery. Julian and seven years fiancee weather girl Holly Reynolds remain childless but raise her adolescent twins Leo and Lisa, allegedly fruits of a Spanish holiday one-night stand. At their tenth anniversary dinner, Holly plans to propose, Julian to have a joint kid. Holly and Julian bump there into the twins' biological father Vince Morgan, a star chef.
