I have to admit that this show confuses me at times. With the same actors playing multiple characters,and with different/alternate timelines that we must try to keep track of,it can be a bit much for anyone to follow.
That said,in this episode 'Kendrick' (Willie Loomis) marries 'Melanie'(Carolyn), and 'Julia Collins' (Dr Hoffman) is not exactly congratulatory towards the marriage announcement. We find out that 'Daphne' (Kate Jackson,the Charlie's angels girl) died!
Bramwell Collins,(Barnabas) is pretty upset over her death. Julia tells Bramwell that he should plan on leaving Collinwood,and Bramwell angrily refuses. The ghost of 'Brutus Collins' (Roger) shows up and drives Melanie to try to stab her new hubby Kendrick! Melanie is put in the tower room and the ghost says that Melanie will remain insane untill the family holds another lottery and sends someone else into the crazy-room !
