The Whole Truth?
Prismark1014 April 2022
Harriet Peterson is prosecuting habitual villain Tiger Lawson (Brian Blessed) for carrying a firearm.

The police have it in it for Tiger. He badly injured a policeman but they can never have enough on him to carry out a successful prosecution.

This looks like an open and shut case but Dr Moody finds out that the gun may have been planted on Tiger. The policeman who arrested Tiger is the brother in law of the injured copper.

Surely a policeman would not lie in the witness box?

Dr Moody himself is in for a bit of bother. Accused if negligence when an elderly woman dies. Her grandaughter has the hots for Moody, they went out for a few drinks.

The episode is enlivened by the simmering animosity between Moody and Sir John Gallagher. There is also a nice scene stealing performance from Frederick Jaeger as a witness for Tiger whose testimony falls apart.

There is a subtext that a policeman's evidence cannot always be taken for granted as being truthful.
