This is the first episode of preparation to have the Feliner, a ship that will allow the Thundercats to travel outside the Third Earth, ready. It is also an episode that shows the first use that this intended ship will have: to bring Snarfer, Snarf's nephew, back to the planet of Snarfs. After these two episodes, the Feliner (even when it will not appear in many episodes) will have an increasing amount of importance as the show goes forward.
Some bonuses of this episode are that we the have two smartest Mutants working together, Ratar-O and Vultureman, and in opposition to the first episodes of the series they won't face a team of Thundercats whose leader is too inexperienced and the group still a little bit uncoordinated. Both heroes and villains are a bit more capable now.
We also had the presentation of Snarfer who may be a better comical release than his uncle, Snarf, that was a little bit annoying at times, and as always cool to get to know more characters, and somehow, these characters were more interesting if they had to do with Thundera and the life our characters had before arriving to the Third Earth. Thundera in this sense, works in the story a little bit as Milton's Paradise Lost in my opinion.
As a bonus, we also had two confrontations of the Ratar-O's spaceship , the Ratstar, versus the ThunderTank and versus an already skillful Lion-O.
