Sex & Nudity

  • Four motel scenes, three of which involve implied sexual activity. One scene involves a consensual couple, though the man is married; the other three scenes involve sexual extortion in which a married man forces a woman to provide sex in exchange for a fraudulent document. All the scenes involve post-coital or interrupted sex and all show nudity, mostly female.
  • A guy asks another guy if a gun makes his "chachi" (Korean slang for a man's genitalia) hard.
  • A man tells a woman to get down on all fours then we see her crying in the shower (implied anal 'sex').
  • The nudity scenes are relatively lengthy.

Violence & Gore

  • We see some dead bodies with bullets in their heads.
  • A store owner is shot during a robbery. The robbers are all shot except for one.
  • A man is shot in the head and blood splatters on the wall. A pillow is put over a woman's face and she is also shot.
  • It's implied that a woman's body is found.

Profanity

  • The profanities occur very frequently - very little of the film is profanity-free. Besides 15 blasphemies, there are 49 instances of the 'f' word (and variations), milder curse words, and plenty of crass terms too. Ethnic and racial slurs are used.
  • A girl gives another girl the finger.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Some drinking and smoking.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There are some intense moments including an armed robbery which is interrupted by an armed Federal agent who happens to be a store customer.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The scene where a teenage muslim girl talks in front her class about 9/11, tells her class that they should understand the perpetrators motives and understand them in why they had to commit the attack. She receives a lot backlash and insults from her classmates. Her speech might be upsetting to some viewers, especially for those who lost their love ones in the 9/11 attack.
