The whole premise for this 'Only Fools' spin-off was that Boycie and family were on the run from the dreaded Driscoll Brothers.
This episode decides to do away with the suspense of 'will they find him?', which is an odd decision because the whole show rests on it. Yes, the way they find him is funny, as is the episode in general, but having found him it does make the rest of the show (it would run for a further two series) a bit pointless.
After this point the show became 'Boycie and Marlene on a farm', which was funny enough (though the fourth series dropped off in quality considerably) but without the threat of the Driscoll's the premise of the show had been exceeded.
