This movie should be classified alongside movies such as Cannibal Holocaust, Feast 3: The Happy Finish, and Brain Dead for sheer tastelessness and idiocy. The advantage of the other three movies is that they were, at least, laughable, after a fashion. This movie is just simply bad. The writer's attempt to portray a nitty gritty slum existence in the Philippines is sadly delivered like a scene from a documentary on why not to visit third world countries. What the writer tries to pass off as an "in-your-face" reality scene (putting menstruated blood in the food) is one of the crudest and tactless scenes made in a supposed non-horror movie, although for the sheer bad content of this terrible movie, it really should have been classified as a horror movie. What passes for a background noise (i refuse to call that cat being gutted to death as music) is just a disharmonious cacophony of a tone-deaf artist-wannabe who was probably just related to one of the cast members or production crew and was just given a job for food money. On top of it all, they had the gall to put English sub-titles in the post production. This is sad for all filipino writers since it casts a pall on all, as it projects a bad image of filipino artistry. Note to the world: not all filipinos think or write like this, so please, do not use this sad attempt to judge the ability of filipino writers who do have real talent.
