I love this episode because Gordon gets a taste of his own medicine in it. All the engines except Gordon are excited about the visit of the famous engine who is known as the City of Truro. That night 🌃, he enjoys talking to the engines and guess who's not there. You got it, it's Gordon who's not there. City of Truro leaves next morning but Gordon's still complaining to Thomas and Duck who simply can't take him seriously. As Edward says, Gordon is jealous as he thinks no engine should be famous except him. Gordon says he never boasts but everyone knows that he's contradicting himself. I personally find Gordon's predicament to be very amusing. Gordon says that the City of Truro has no dome and to "never trust domeeless engines, they aren't respectable. I find it amusing as to how Duck says that Gordon's will knock himself to bits after he and Edward see Gordon speed by Wellsworth Station The scene where the wind blows his loose dome off of his boiler and into the valley below. 💨 The frieght cars laugh at him and the engines laughed at him that night 🌃. You can hear a voice from one of the engines saying "never trust domeless engines, they're not respectable". I think the voice came from either Thomas or Duck. I don't know about you guys but I enjoyed seeing Gordon get a taste of his own medicine.
