Helen is sick. Not trusting Spanish doctors, Peter consults 'Dennis Appleyard' ( Terence Alexander ), a British GP who got struck off for having an affair with one of his married patients. Dennis diagnoses a virus. He then goes to see Gloria and Robert. Gloria fears Dennis might try and have his wicked way with her...
We meet another expat in this episode. 'Gay Gordon' ( Peter Jonfield ) and as soon as he appears the reason for his nickname becomes obvious. The very British Terence Alexander is best remembered for his roles in the film 'The League Of Gentlemen' and the BBC series 'Bergerac' in which he played 'Charlie Hungerford'.
Funniest moment - Gloria is scared to get into Dennis's car, and asks Robert to get in first. No sooner is Robert inside than Dennis starts the engine and races off into the distance. It was Robert he'd been interested in, not Gloria!
