The scariest episode of the show before Season 5
LigerTamer10024 January 2020
Before the fifth season was made that is now known as the creepiest season of the whole show, there was this episode from the second season based from one of the books. What they did in the episode is great, the story the sets and the atmosphere was perfect.

I wasn't born when this episode was made and made it to the US yet, but what I heard is that this used to scare children when it was first made, and that was a few years before season five was made. I think one of the things that makes the episode creepy was the acting, both Ringo Start and George Carlin nailed it with the ghost sounds, makes me wonder how long it took them to get that type of energy going to do that.

So if you have a kid who loves a bit of scary stories and a bit of creepiness or if you love scary stories and creepiness, than this is one of the perfect episodes to watch for that and at Halloween time.

Classic and Awesome Halloween Episode for Thomas Fans
rebeccaajclarke19 August 2023
I find this Halloween episode is awesome, Because it is a classic and it is very scary in a Family-Friendly way. The story is very good, because of the delightfully family-friendly level of scariness. The characters are memorable, like Thomas The Tank Engine, Percy The Green Tank Engine and Toby The Tram Engine. The stop-motion animation is awesome and well-crafted. The Narration of the original British English Dub is by the Beatles member Ringo Starr, While the American English Dub is by the late George Carlin. But for the Japanese Dub, The Narration is by Leo Morimoto, However Thomas is voiced by Keiko Toda, Percy is voiced by Chisato Nakajima and Toby is voiced by Yasuhiko Kawazu for the Japanese Dub as well. I'm giving this Halloween Episode a 10/10 and Happy Halloween.

Would not recommend for children 5 or under

As a toddler, I was absolutely obsessed with Thomas the Tank Engine, owning all the DVD's, Toys or trains, shirts and Pajamas, so when I heard there was a Halloween special for the show, I knew I had to watch it. At first I thought it would be a silly kind of scary like most little kid shows were in the 2000's but it ended up nothing like I expected. The music is something straight out of an 80's slasher film like Friday the 13th and the Ghost Train or Timothy the Ghost Train's appearance is very frightening when looked at by the eyes of a 3 year old. I remember the Ghost Train episode scared me so badly, that I had to keep my bed light on all night because I feared he would get me. Looking back on it now, it's so stupidly funny but that Music will haunt the dreams of Adults themselves. Funny as an adult? Yes! Scary for kids? Yes. Would definitely sit down and comfort the children

Good Thomas Episode for Halloween 🦇 🎃 🍬
thomastheartist13 January 2024
This is a good episode for Halloween. It's the first episode to be spooky. The episode starts with a mysterious engine covered in white known as the ghost engine. We then see that it was Percy telling Thomas and Toby a story. Thomas simply shrugged off the story and he calls Percy "a silly little engine". The interesting part is Percy's accident with a cart of lime. Percy is covered in lime from dome to buffers. You guys think he looks like a 👻 because I do. The signalman thinks Percy looks like a 👻. Percy suddenly gets the idea of pretending to be a 👻 to frighten Thomas. Toby joined in on Percy's prank. I gotta say Thomas was frightened of Percy's 'ghost' because that what it looks like. Percy and Toby made a great team. This episode is not bad but it's not my favorite either. Toby's right about anyone thinking that Thomas had seen a 'ghost'.
