Zero educational content
geoffken2426 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
There is little-to-no actual content to the show. It has bright colors that my daughter enjoys but the animals and characters are extremely repetitive as if the animators just use the same stand-by every show. I just watched three episodes with my daughter and in each episode, Morphle changed into a shark, a shark with legs, or a shark with wings to overcome the obstacle of the episode. You can tell how out of touch the creators are by the dialogue and situations they create. At one point in an episode, sky pirates have been stomping down people's sand castles at the beach (not what I would call violent but it felt out of place for the age group it is targeting). When our heroes see them, they begin to chase the sky pirates away. As they are running away from Morphle (as a shark with legs *sigh*) and to distract the girl and Morphle so they can get away, they pick up a toddler and casually throw her in the air. Morphle easily catches the toddler but the fact that they snatched a toddler off of her blanket at the beach and threw her in the air just strikes me as bad taste and lazy writing. It sounds dumb but for a father to have seen way too much children's programming than any human should suffer through, it just felt off compared to the norm. Animations are entertaining enough and I've already mentioned that the use of bright colors are attractive and attention grabbing. If only they could add some educational content or have a lesson in mind for the episodes other than 'stop the bad guys', it would be much more tolerable. As it stands, it is repetitious and mindless almost to the point of inappropriate. Will your toddler watch this? Maybe. Will you feel like less of a parent for allowing it? I won't lie, I did. We will be avoideding Morphle moving forward and I would suggest you do the same.

Pure torture for parents

This show is beyond terrible. Inane plot lines, pointless dialogue and obnoxious characters. Spare yourself.

Cheap and unintresting
wewserlethaldude18 April 2020
Most assets are reused on an episode-to-episode basis, the animation is on the level of someone who is familiar with Flash but does not know how an animation should look. Although simple plots are to be expected of this kind of show, no credit can be given for this show's writing - there is little in terms of morals, beyond "Doing bad things is bad and gets you punished", and it gives off the feeling that there is no professional writer working on the show at all. Overall, there is nothing to make this show "bad for your kids", but don't watch it if anything better is at hand.

Not good for kids to start speaking.

Not good for kids to start speaking. This cartoon is not good for kids to help with speaking. It's funny though. Also it's not legible. Not good for kids to start speaking. This cartoon is not good for kids to help with speaking. It's funny though. Also it's not legible. This just my view.

This show is straight ***** for my 2 year old. She'll watch for hours. There are better show's. Shows that are much more educational. Meila can't solve anything without magic pet Morphle doing all the work. Codependent much? Am I reading into this too much? Yes. It's Dutch what do I know.

My 2-year-old loves it

My 2-year-old loves it and can watch it for hours. Some reviewers here went to such extent as to discuss the animation software used for the cartoon production. Oh, boy! It seems they forget that this cartoon is for kids, not for adults. Of course, if your child is 3, then yes, it might be "uninteresting". But for younger children is perfect: colorful and optimistic.

My 1 an 3 year old boys can watch this for hours

Great for toddlers, very full of fantasy. A bit quirky and strange continuous animation, but it seems to appeal enormously to these little ones. And no nightmares, guaranteed!

Morphle is a cute and harmless show I can safely recommend to anyone
bruvvamoff6 June 2020
Morphle is the number 1 go to show in our house. Mila is a girl who has a pet and best friend in Morphle, a magical red creature who can speak (just about) and transform into any creature or object. Mila and Morphle believe in being kind and always doing the right thing. They often spend the episode catching the 'bandits' 2 clumsy criminals who steal everything from houses to hats and coats. Most episodes have a lesson about morality, as well as some education whenever Morphle morphs into some sort of animal or machine. Mila is very clever, always asking Morphle to morph into the perfect creature for the current dilemma or situation, which I feel encourages a little resourcefulness and creativity in the viewer. The episodes mostly begin with a negative situation which is always resolved without any violence or prejudice. Each episode is full of magic, fun, and there are plenty of hidden chuckles for the adults too. Thoroughly recommended.

Nice 80's Cartoon Feels
anniegsinger18 March 2022
Definitely a cute concept I haven't seen before. Both my kids love it despite a large age gap (Ages 4 & 11).

Love the cute little music too.

Reminds me of all the cartoons I used to watch back in the 1980's when I was a kid!

Good, animated and entertaining

Its honestly a great show, very entertaining. But why is the cop always incompetent? Instead of Milo at least helping out the cop, he's just a clown. Literally all the episodes.
