Wrestling fans are really furious with Aew star Darby Allin, who recently insulted Kurt Angle—a big figure in the WWE Hall of Fame.
Angle is considered one of the all-time wrestling greats. He proved his real wrestling chops by snagging an Olympic Gold Medal in freestyle wrestling at the 1996 Olympics despite having a broken neck.

At WrestleMania 35, the 55-year-old wrapped up his wrestling career, losing to Baron Corbin. This match occurred almost two decades after Angle’s debut on WWE television.
Many fans were upset because Pittsburgh native’s last match at WrestleMania 35 was against Baron Corbin instead of someone like John Cena. They thought The Prototype would have been a better choice for Angle’s final match. Sadly, it didn’t come to be.

Brock Lesnar, recognized as one of the most versatile athletes in the history of combat and entertainment sports, has been a valuable asset to WWE for years. After his last match against Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam in 2023, Lesnar has been notably absent from in-ring appearances. Despite his absence, WWE still acknowledges Lesnar, even amidst his alleged connection to Vince McMahon’s trafficking lawsuit.
Brock Lesnar
Brock Lesnar has reached remarkable milestones in his WWE career, driven by his relentless aggression and larger-than-life personality. Aptly nicknamed The Beast Incarnate, this title perfectly encapsulates his dominant presence in the ring, highlighting his commanding prowess every time he steps into competition.

WWE legend, Bushwhacker Butch, has died at the age of 78.
His death was announced on Monday by his longtime tag team partner, Luke Williams, who revealed Butch passed after a brief illness.
On Friday, the New Zealand professional wrestler, whose real name is Bob Miller, was hospitalized in the ICU after arriving in Los Angeles for WrestleMania, which Williams said resulted from a “situation with medication.”

Snoop Dogg’s title as the “Doggfather of WrestleMania” remains in good standing after he stepped into the ring on Sunday at WrestleMania 39 in Inglewood, California. The rapper’s surprise appearance came moments after Shane McMahon’s grand return was cut short by a blown-out knee during his spar with host The Miz, leaving Snoop Dogg to save the day.
Stepping into the ring, the rapper delivered a swift right hook to The Miz, who immediately fell to the mat. Tossing his mic to the ground and his sunglasses into the crowd,...

Andy Kaufman, the legendary comedian, prankster and “inter-gender champion”, will be honored as an inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the celebrity wing.
Andy Kaufman may not exactly scream wrestling, but the WWE has defended its decision (certainly not the most controversial this year), noting his history in the world of sports entertainment, particularly his rivalry with Jerry “The King” Lawler. In their official statement, the WWE said, “The rivalry between Lawler and Kaufman became national news leading to a legendary exchange on Late Night with David Letterman. The interaction would later be memorialized in the 1999 movie biopic Man on the Moon, where Lawler appeared alongside Jim Carrey as Kaufman to recreate the iconic moment. Kaufman’s interactions with Lawler transformed the business and opened up pathways for future cross-over Superstars such as Johnny Knoxville who honored the comedian with his WrestleMania 38 ring gear.” Lawler, who...

Netflix’s ad-supported tier has reached 1 million monthly active users in the U.S., which is not yet enough to impact the streaming giant’s growth but enabled it to fulfill its forecasted deliveries to advertisers, Bloomberg reported.
The user base grew by more than 500% in the first month since its launch in November, the report said, citing internal data. Its second month saw another 50% growth.
The numbers pale in comparison to Netflix’s 231 million paying users — 74 million in the U.S. — but the uptick quells concerns from shortly after the launch that the new tier wasn’t drawing viewers.
Ad-supported rivals like Hulu and Peacock still draw more users, the report noted, as do Fast services like Tubi and Pluto. But the numbers show that Netflix is drawing the audience it hoped for, the report said, noting that Netflix hasn’t promoted the ad business.

Andy Kaufman is set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2023, Variety has learned.
Kaufman will be inducted alongside this year’s fellow honorees that currently include Rey Mysterio and The Great Muta.
Kaufman is best known for his career on the stage and screen, most famously starring as Latka Gravas in the hit sitcom “Taxi” from 1978-1983. He made his mark on the world of professional wrestling, however, when he declared himself the Inter-Gender Wrestling Champion of the World, offering money to any woman who could pin him as part of his act. This famously led to a feud with fellow WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler in the Continental Wrestling Association in Memphis, Tn.
Despite Lawler and Kaufman being friends, they successfully convinced the audience they were bitter enemies. Kaufman claimed that Lawler broke his neck when Lawler performed a piledriver on him,...

In a dream scenario for some of James Corden’s biggest detractors, Bad Bunny put some pro wrestling moves on The Late Late Show host during the latest segment of Carpool Karaoke on Tuesday, March 14th.
The segment got off to an ordinary start, with Corden picking up the global superstar to sing some of his own hits (“Dakiti” and “Tití Me Preguntó”) and breakout Cardi B collab “I Like It” before going into Ariana Grande’s “Break Free” and Harry Styles’ megahit “As It Was.” Then, longtime WWE fan Bad Bunny explained how he ended up wrestling in and winning a match at Wrestlemania 37.
When Corden asked if Bad Bunny thought he had what it takes to be a pro wrestler, the artist offered to train him. Lo and behold, they stopped by a makeshift ring in the studio lot, where Bad Bunny put Corden in a series of submission moves like a chinlock,...

Welcome to this review of this past Friday’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, right here on Nerdly. Let’s see what went down on the show!
Match #1: Fatal 5-Way Intercontinental Title chance Match – Winner(s): Drew McIntyre & Sheamus The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Karrion Kross, Xavier Woods and LA Knight collided in this Fatal 5-Way Match for a chance at Gunther’s Intercontinental Title. The match broke down almost as soon as it began, with all five competitors taking the action to the outside. With five competitors, it was no surprise that alliances were quick to occur with Knight and Kross combining to make a unique combo. Much like Survivor, the alliance was over fairly quickly as Knight struck Kross while his back was turned. Woods, who had some umbrage with being called the underdog had a great showing with dynamite offense...

Even though her days as a champion within WWE are far behind her, Hall of Famer Trish Stratus continues to show that she’s in incredible shape.
The Canadian professional wrestling legend gave fans a look at her rock-hard abs in an Instagram clip she shared on Monday, which only focused on her midsection.
In the quick video, Trish raises her shirt just a bit to reveal her solid abdominal muscles while rocking casual dark pants and a black t-shirt.
“Peek-ab-boo,” she cleverly wrote in her Instagram post’s caption, referring to the abs reveal.
Trish, real name Patricia Anne Stratigeas, is 46 years old but shows her age is just a number. The fitness proponent has clearly kept herself healthy over the years.
