I just can't get enough of Bryan Cranston's amazing performance, this was a great episodes on all aspects, if you want to enjoy this series stop comparing it to other ones. I really enjoyed the thrill, the good acting, the great soundtrack.

Suspense just builds and builds.
Brettyboy00717 January 2021
Episode 2 of Your Honor keeps building the tension from episode 1. Will Adam spill the beans to someone? Will Michael accidentally let something go? This episode introduced a new character named Kofi Jones. It is sad to see what ends up happening to him but it is to protect another. These next few episodes are going to be explosive and I'm sure many deaths will follow all because of one death. It is definitely a domino effect. Michael just keeps building a hole deeper and deeper with the lies he's making to protect his son.

This episode was so disturbing. Poor Kofi.

Warning: Spoilers
The torture part, I didn't understand why? I thought they were connected with the kid's father and they were going to deliver him to the family, but wasn't the case and then of course he pleads guilty, I didn't see it necessary unless the show is trying to point out how dirty the detectives can be

Stunning absolutely stunning

Warning: Spoilers
It's been a while since I last wrote a review. The reason is that these exceptional circumstances - as we all know - have not been favorable moments for quality series. This year, of course, has been the brilliant Ozark, the epic exquisite The Last Kingdom and the original and brilliant The Boys. And perhaps the most anticipated series, Fargo betrayed me so badly that I didn't even look at it to the end. This series, these two episodes, have been absolutely captivating and spectacular episodes. Stuhlbarg, which has reminded me of one of the best series of all time(Boardwalk Empire), manages brilliantly as the head of a crimefamily, as does Cranston as a judge, Cranston who never fails. Every performance of the exhibition is pure art. Description, editing, music, atmosphere ... Everything is intertwined, making this a very high quality series. To top it all off, the script has so far been stunningly constructed. Here we can have a series of a year. Bravo!

Another fantastic episode

I had very low expectations regarding this series, but I have to say - well done! It is nothing short of amazing. Do yourself a favor and watch it. The first episode was not a fluke, this one was even better.

A needed buildup episode, guided by strong acting and a great soundtrack.

Lots of things are being setup here, but that doesn't make it a bad episode. Strong acting, great visuals, and a mood-setting soundtrack keep this as entertaining as ever.

Powerful second part
kelboy1024 January 2023
This episode reveals more depth in comparison to the first. Without giving too much away Michael Bryan Cranstons character sets out to scrap the car involved in the accident, which could cause problems for him and his son!

Once again all the actors are in amazing form alongside good cinematography. I love the way the sequences flow from one shot to the other whether it's a character running with his hood up or the newly introduced character Kofi disposing of the car. The pacing works well, not for a moment was I switching off. So far this had shades of Breaking Bad. The suspense is excruciatingly painful when left in situations leaving you questioning what you'd do? Also what to do for the best. I feel empathy for Adam, still I feel some sympathy for Kofi who is in a predicament he didn't sign up for.

Suspense is strong

This episode is amazing. Very suspenseful. The soundtracks make it even better. Bryan shows very good performance. To all those giving a low rating, you don't know the definition of the word "patience".

Shawshank Redemption Easter eggs

Warning: Spoilers
Great Series! The opera song in this episode. Is it the same one that Andy Dufresne plays when he locks himself up in the wardens office?? **Update. Spoiler. It is. As well Bryan Cranston makes reference to The Shawshank Redemption (Ep1) when he asks his son if he'd like to watch it one more time. So amazing and with Stephen King references it's gotta be good. Worth it to continue.

Part Two

Warning: Spoilers
Not a bad episode, but I just don't think there is a whole season of content here. I also worry we're getting too over the top if they're going to add a gang vs. mob factor into this.

Part Two
Prismark1026 March 2021
The episode works best as the disintegration of Michael's honour as a lawyer and judge.

Michael works on an alibi for his son and calls in favours. This means framing a young black gang member Kofi for the theft of the car Adam was driving.

Now Kofi is arrested and charged for the murder of Rocco.

Gangster Jimmy is and angry and unstable as he thinks his son might have been killed as part of a gang war.

So far in this series. Adam looks like a guy who might not be up to these circle of lies. Hence why my interest is maintained to see Michael crossing a line and walk further along a dark road.

If it weren't for Cranston
KahlilHerring14 December 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Man oh man, I don't know what's been going on lately with the campaigns behind these shows, but this show is nonsensical to say the least. If it wasn't for Bryan Cranston, this show would be marked as garbage.

First off in ep1, the kid could've EASILY pulled over for a quick second when he was on the open road, with no car behind him yet, to bend down to pickup his inhaler. Skip to the laundry scene, you're telling me he forgot how to do that now too right? In other words, the kid is an idiot.

Second, it was an accident no? And if this guy is supposed to be a crime boss, surely he would have some kind of understanding that this wasn't on purpose if they came right out with the truth, I mean he does weld some kind of power over life or death in his field, so he's familiar.

Third, I honestly feel no emotions toward any character in the show, that was thrown away in episode one via the stupidity of the son, along the with vomit of exposition by Cranston's character, left no room for emotional buildup since we know everything now. I don't know how they're going to stretch this 10 episodes for real.

Oh I know, they're going to hatch a lot of contrived plot points/holes for the sake of "entertainment". Like let's have this kid locked up based on no analytical evidence, for no reason, other than to clear the son. Oh but wait we need 8 more episodes, so let's have the son be remorseful, let's see where they take this .

In the last minutes, this ep made me shed a tear, but not for something sad...
jere_zabala19 December 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This show surprises me, we had gotten so many bad shows this decade, but to see this beautiful letter to the 90's suspense/police movies, it's a releaf, some part in the last minutes, I shed a tear, just for one detail, and it wasn't even a sad thing, it was just a moment, it reminded me so much to the 90's films of jury I watched as a kid, how the teenage who murdered the other kid, was standing there above in the dais, all broken up, fighting an internal war with hilself and his emotions, seeing someone paying for his fault, being destroyed for that but at the same time cant say anything cause that would mean his freedom, in just one moment, u can see so many things, all the guilty thoughts of him, and at the same time, how the inocent teen realizing who was probably the real guilty, while his inocent life is ending right there, god, this show is becoming so far one of my favs and is already in my top 10 of best shows ever.

Not believable
rjb-383222 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Ok- you are going to get somebody to steal your crime scene car and set them up as the killer? That's a hell of a plan. Not smart to tie your car to an open case. Personally, I'd just ditch the car myself and forget it. But Ok- I'll bite. People are crazy sometimes. Kid nervous wreck at crime scene- cool cucumber in class- people don't change like that- 2 different people. Parts of motorcycle falling off car in front of ace detective- come on- give me a break. Don't leave evidence in a car you are going to have somebody steal (baseball) -come on. Corrupt cops torturing suspect for confession for a car theft/hit and run? Not likely. Pretty corrupt city i guess. Could happen I suppose. The person who steals the car just happens to be the same family as a case the judge had had just recently? Now they are stretching again. Like part one, I'm finding this whole thing a little bit to fantastic to be believable. But, pretty good acting anyway. So I'll give another 5- hope it gets better.

At least there is Kofi
NancyOats22 February 2021
Lamar Johnson, who plays Kofi, is great. I don't know what is going on with everyone else. They seem to be in a different show.
